Eton Messy

Eton Messy recently announced a new compilation, ‘In:Season’, featuring 32 tracks, plus a 10 date tour to support the release, which takes in parties across the UK, at ADE, Barcelona and Brussels. Eton Messy rose to prominence off the back of their YouTube channel, which apparently became known as an arbiter of hot new music and saw them gain a vast online following. This new compilation was named after Eton Messy designer Eddy spotted the 'in season' section at his local veg stall. The boys decided it perfectly conveys their aims of offering up music that is perfectly fresh and ripe and ready to go right now.

The artwork, meanwhile, represents autumn/winter i.e. when the tour kicks off, and much like the fashion world who use the same system, the whole concept will be back again next year under a spring/summer banner with fresh new tunes.

In terms of the cuts that are exclusive to this compilation, Matt & Kendo kick off with ‘Who Cares’, Jynx get tribal with the beats of ‘Charm’, GotSome’s ‘The Life’ is all about the skipping bass and a Todd Sloan remix of Mike Wooller serves up some main room tech house. The second half gets emotive with Chasing Fire’s ‘Aprês’ and the house vibes of Love Thy Brother’s ‘Holy Days’ Ft. Jonny Stemp. Lastly for the exclusives, Dubshy serves up more pop leaning vocal house with grand pianos and melancholic moods.

Elsewhere there are tracks from Glasgow duo illyus & Barrientos and their ‘Love You So Much’ featuring vocals from Trina Broussard. Next up is Shadow Child’s ‘Work’, and other house mainstays such as Cera Alba, Doorly and Gorgon City all appear with offerings.

Dusky also offer some festival sized broken beats, Irish pair Bicep contribute, Defected man Sonny Fodera is on board and Hot Creations man Richy Ahmed offers some smooth garage house.
