‘Music For Dreams, ‘Best Of’ Volume 2’ is a 21-track album featuring a sonic kaleidoscope of genres including electronica, nu-disco and chillout releases that Music For Dreams is best known for. Compiled and mixed by Balearic DJ, Jon Sa Trinxa, this new compilation showcases the Balearic label run by Danish DJ/producer, Kenneth Bager.
Kenneth Bager helped bring proper chillout back to Ibiza for the first time in a decade to a major venue, when he held a series of parties at Cafe Mambo. He also released the compilations ‘Cafe Mambo – The Sunset Sessions’ and ‘Cafe Mambo - Twilight Sessions’ on his Music For Dreams label. Kenneth is also the promoter of the Apple Flower Festival as well as the Coma Club in Copenhagen.
‘Music For Dreams, ‘Best Of’ Volume 2’ features an eclectic mix of tracks and remixes from The Kenneth Bager Experience, Emil Germ, Hess Is More, DJ Disse, Troels Hammer, Jacob Gurevitsch, Laid Back, Razzy Bailey, Frontera and more.
A DJ since 1987, Jon Sa Trinxa’s Balearic sets have found him fame worldwide, but Ibiza is where he is most known. A 20-year residency at Sa Trinxa Chiringuito, the hang out on Salinas Beach in Ibiza, earned Jon his name after he installed his own sound system and played everyday for much of the 1990s. A music obsessive since school, the Spanish DJ also made his mark in Ibiza playing at Manumission at Privilege, Made In Italy, Pacha, Amnesia, We Love Sundays at Space and Pikes before exporting his sound to UK, Italy, France, Germany, Greece, South and North America plus trips to Goa, Bali, Australia and Japan.
