Get No Sleep

EMI’s newly established "Get No Sleep" brand represents a conglomeration of community, live experience and a record label offering some of the best from the wide-ranging field of electronic music every day. The brand provides users with information and the latest sounds from luminaries like David Guetta, Deadmau5, Nervo, Eric Prydz and Swedish House Mafia. The worldwide EMI Dance Network recently started up, bundling all of the label’s available A&R and marketing forces together to discover new dance music talents and guide them to long-term international success.

EMI Music Germany has brought all this together under the brand banner of “Get No Sleep”, which they celebrated with a launch on April 30th at Cologne’s Bootshaus Club. The club was transformed into Neonland, under the heading "Get No Sleep presents Neonland", which was headlined by Fedde Le Grand. In addition to upcoming events in Germany and Switzerland, clubbers can also look forward to an additional eight Get No Sleep events this summer and a Get No Sleep compilation.

Uli Mücke (Vice President New Music GSA EMI): “We will use our worldwide EMI Dance Network to further reinforce our market leadership in this genre. We’re connecting our artists and using the available synergies in our comprehensive marketing of music, live, merchandising and joint ventures. Our ‘Get No Sleep’ brand fits in perfectly and will be established as a cornerstone of the dance scene in 2012.”
